Mizoram border district issues strict guidelines for Myanmar refugees

Aizawl, Apr 2 (UNI) Authorities in south Mizoram’s Lawngtlai district, along with paramilitary personnel, state police, and civil society leaders, visited the refugee camp at Bualpui NG
village and issued a set of directives for the displaced people from Myanmar.
The visit came in the wake of a recent drug bust in the village, where 56,000 methamphetamine tablets were seized. Officials expressed concerns over drug trafficking networks exploiting the refugee crisis to smuggle contraband into Mizoram.
