Arunachal: Ziro police arrest 4 drug peddlers in two separate operations

Itanagar, May 5 (UNI) Continuing the crackdown on the drug menace under Operation Dawn 2.0, the Ziro Police has arrested four drug peddlers in two separate operations conducted under the leadership of Lower Subansiri district SP Keni Bagra, reflecting the Police department's firm stance against narcotics trafficking in the region.
Acting on specific intelligence received on Saturday evening, the police launched a raid targeting two suspects, Takhe Tabyo and Hage Puyang, believed to be in possession of contraband substances.
A team led by SI J Doye, comprising Inspector M Lalyang, ASI P Novin, constable T Param, and lady constable T Hinju, under the supervision of SDPO Ziro, swiftly moved to the suspects’ location at Hilltop, Hapoli, aided by technical surveillance support from PHQ. Upon reaching the apartment, both accused were found inside and detained.
