Two criminals fleeing after shooting two businessmen lynched to death in Samastipur

Samastipur, May 18 (UNI) Two criminals who were trying to escape after looting a grocery shop and injuring the owners were caught and beaten to death by locals in Dalsinghsarai police station area of ​​Samastipur district on Sunday night.
According to police, the motorcycle-borne criminals attacked a shop in Sardarganj Chowk area belonging to a businessman Abhishek Kumar and started looting the shop. On showing resistance, the criminals fired at Abhishek Kumar and his brother Pintu Kumar and injured them.
Later the local people caught two of the men when they were running from the spot and lynched them to death.
The deceased criminals have yet not been identified.
The injured businessmen were admitted at Dalsingsarai subdivisional hospital.
The bodies of the two dead men were sent for postmortem.
The matter is being investigated, police said.
