Man held with drug in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 18 (UNI) A man identified as Martin Pratinlen Kilong of Part-I Sijang Veng Unit-I, Tengnoupal District, was held with drugs from Kuljang Village under Molcham-PS, Chandel District, in an operation by security forces during the last two days.

Police said on Tuesday that troops had been conducting operations for the last few days in Chandel district.

Police said 137 soap cases containing suspected brown sugar weighing approximately 5.48 kg were seized.
