Five held in drug case in Manipur

Imphal, Apr 30 (UNI) Manipur Police and security personnel nabbed five persons for alleged involvement in drug cases in two different cases during the last 48 hours.
Manipur Police arrested two individuals, Ciinkhanlun and Vungtansang Munluo of Suangdoh, Singngat sub- division, Churachandpur from Churachandpur District and seized 331 soap cases containing suspected brown sugar.
In another operation security forces arrested three persons of CKMA (Chin Kuki Mizo Army) who were involved in facilitating drug deals across the border from Phaisat in Myanmar from IMB border under Beihiang-PS, Churachandpur District. The arrested persons were identified as Lunkhohau , Jamhon Haokip and Ngamboi Mate, all of Churachandpur District. Arms and ammunition were recovered from them.
