Agartala, March 11 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday said his government has prioritised the development of education to make the state a knowledge hub for the rest of the country.
Addressing a social event in Bishalgarh, the Chief Minister said various educational projects were being implemented to bring about a transformation in the education system, and encouraging the investment in education sector.
"The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has repeatedly emphasized that in the future, those who possess education and knowledge will lead the world, the country, and the state," he stated.
Dr Saha, also holds the education portfolio mentioned besides education the state government has been working for promoting cultural and traditional heritage of different communities of the state ever since BJP came to power.
“We have introduced the NCERT curriculum and implemented common question papers in schools. The ‘Super30’ project has been launched. Several measures have been taken to advance education, leading to a significant transformation in the sector. People from outside the state are also taking an interest. We are striving to build an education hub here," he added.
