Life imprisonment to four in a murder case

Sasaram, Mar 18 (UNI) Additional Session judge (12) Mukesh Kumar Mishra awarded life imprisonment to 4 convicts in connection with a 25-year-old murder case.
While hearing the case on the issue of quantum of punishment, the judge pronounced the verdict on Tuesday and also slapped a fine of Rs 30000 against each of the convicts.
Those convicts include Narendra Singh, Harendra Singh, Ayodhya Singh, and Yogendra Singh. Another accused in the case Jang Bahadur Singh passed away during trial.
The accused had brutally injured Kamta Singh following a dispute during the measurement of a piece of land on June 29, 2000. Later Kamta Singh succumbed to his injuries.
