Odisha to become a leading state in Petrochemical & Chemical sectors: Majhi

Bhubaneswar, Apr 10 (UNI) The Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed with IOCL, Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited, and Petronet LNG have paved the way for Odisha to emerge as a leading state in the petrochemical and chemical sectors, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said.
Speaking to reporters at Biju Patnaik International Airport on Wednesday night upon his return from Delhi, Majhi stated that the MoU signed with IOCL in New Delhi marks the second historic milestone for Odisha’s industrial sector.
"This has created immense potential for the establishment of numerous downstream and ancillary units in the petrochemical sector. Our goal of transforming Odisha into a port-based economy is on track to be realized," the Chief Minister said.
