Kolkata, Apr 20 (UNI) After West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accused the BJP and RSS of inciting communal violence in various parts of the state, including Murshidabad, BJP it cell chief Amit Malviya on Sunday demanded her resignation for "misleading" the public.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the party's co-incharge for West Bengal wrote, “Using her official letterhead as the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee — who is expected to serve all citizens impartially — is instead blaming the principal opposition party and a non-political organisation for her administration’s failures.”
