Rahul forced Narendra Modi government for caste census : Congress

Patna, May 1 (UNI) Congress on Thursday said that Rahul Gandhi forced Narendra Modi government to conduct nation level caste census, saying it would help in preparing welfare schemes for those who lagged behind on path of development.
A day after decision of Narendra Modi government to conduct caste census alongwith next general census, Congress leaders celebrated the occasion giving full credit to Rahul for historic victory of oppressed, backwards and others who were still far behind in tasting fruits of development.
Krishna Allaveru, in-charge of Congress for Bihar, while addressing the function said that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had worked hard in raising the issue of caste census both on streets and in Parliament.
