PM Modi's poster in JD(U) office creates political ripples

Patna, July 1 (UNI) In an unusual move, the JD(U) on Tuesday stuck posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar outside party office here, creating ripples in political circles.
These posters also had slogans written on them that claimed that NDA is all set to return to power in the next Bihar assembly elections.
Vidhan Sabha elections will take place in Bihar later this year the exact schedule is yet to be disclosed by the election commission.
The appearance of posters that bear PM Modi’s photos has raised several questions including whether it is a reflection of the fact that BJP is dominating JD(U).
A number of schemes launched by Nitish led NDA government, were also mentioned in these posters. Schemes like reservation for women in government services, giving employment to youth and others have their reflections in slogans written on the posters.
Senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, also leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly, said that some leaders in JD (U) were acting in tune with BJP and they were implementing the latter’s agenda. He said that this was also an indication of a “complete surrender of JD (U) to the BJP when assembly election in Bihar is round the corner,” he remarked.
RJD leaders have been claiming that Nitish Kumar will not become Chief Minister again after next Bihar assembly elections. Tejashwi has said on several occasions that it is a well-known fact that Nitish is not going to become CM again. “No top leader of BJP has declared that Nitish would become CM after next assembly elections in Bihar,” he pointed out.
