Chaudhary to file defamation suit against Prashant Kishor for baseless allegation

Patna, Apr 26 (UNI) Bihar Rural Works Minister Ashok Chaudhary on Saturday declared that he would file defamation suit against "Jan Suraaj " founder Prashant Kishor for making baseless allegation against him about purchasing ticket for his daughter to contest 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Chaudhary told media persons here that Kishor had levelled several baseless charges against him. It was most unfortunate, and he had made up his mind to file defamation suit against Kishor for levelling such baseless and irresponsible charges, he added.
" Preparation is on to file defamation suit against Kishor, wait for few days", JD(U) leader said while responding to queries of media persons regarding allegation of Kishor. He would exercise his legal rights as citizen of the country, he remarked.
" I am from Dalit community (oppressed section) and have no power to fight with swords, so I will knock door of the court to get justice", Chaudhary said and exuded his confidence to get justice from the court.
Kishor on Friday had alleged that Ashok Chaudhary purchased ticket for his daughter Shambhavi Chaudhary to contest Lok Sabha election last year.
" I have no money to purchase ticket like Chaudhary did for his daughter. I have not received even a single penny illegally from anyone violating law for my party Jan Suraaj ", Kishor had remarked.
" Political character of Ashok Chaudhary is known to everyone and media persons also know it better than me ", Jan Suraaj leader had said.
As it is, Shambhavi Chaudhary had contested on ticket of LJP(R) headed by Chirag Paswan in 2024 Lok Sabha election from Samastipur seat in Bihar.
She had emerged victorious, becoming youngest elected MP of the country.
