Bihar Guv Arif Mohammad Khan supports Waqf Board Amendment Bill

Patna, Apr 05 (UNI) Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Saturday strongly supported the Waqf Board Amendment Bill, saying it was needed for long.
Khan told media persons here that the Waqf Board had huge properties in Bihar and other parts of the country, but welfare schemes being carried out for poor Muslims were not visible.
Those managing Waqf Board properties were indulging in legal disputes, rather than assisting those who needed it, he pointed out.
