Premiere of Bollywood action thriller Ground Zero held in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 18 ( UNI) The much-anticipated action thriller Ground Zero kicked off its historic premiere in grand style, with BSF Jawans and the entire film team walking the red carpet.

Marking a cinematic milestone, the film is set to release in theatres on April 25.

This premiere is especially significant as Ground Zero becomes the first film in 38 years to host a red carpet premiere in Srinagar. The special screening was organized exclusively for the BSF Jawans and was graced by the film's cast and crew.

As the nation eagerly awaited this landmark moment, the red carpet turned into a visual spectacle. Leading the dazzling procession were actors Emraan Hashmi and Sai Tamhankar, Director Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Producers Ritesh Sidhwani with his wife Dolly Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar with his wife Shibani Dandekar, co-Producer Arhan Bagati, and others, making a striking entrance and setting the tone for the evening.

Ground Zero stars Emraan Hashmi as BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey and tells the gripping story of a real-life mission that led to the elimination of Ghazi Baba, the alleged mastermind of the 2001 Indian Parliament attack. Celebrated as one of the BSF’s most successful operations in five decades, the film brings to light a powerful yet underrepresented chapter of Indian history.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment and directed by Tejas Deoskar, Ground Zero is Co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C. Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy.
