IP University signs MoU with St Petersburg State University of Economics

New Delhi, Mar 18 (UNI) IP University has signed an MoU with St Petersburg State University of Economics, an official said here on Tuesday.

The purpose of this agreement is to promote and expand international development, understanding, and friendship by stimulating and supporting educational, professional and intercultural activities as well as projects among students, scholars and teachers of both the universities.

The MoU was signed online by the Registrar of IP University Dr Kamal Pathak and Rector of the Russian university Prof Igor A Maximtsev.

The Director – International Affairs of IP University Prof Vijita Singh Aggarwal and Director – Development of the University Prof A K Saini were also present on the occasion.

As per agreement, they will conduct joint research activities, publications, co-advising of research students and participation in seminars and conferences, exchange of faculty, students and research students, exchange of academic information and materials in fields of interest to both the universities.

The Vice Chancellor of IP University Padmashri Prof (Dr) Mahesh Verma said on the occasion that "we are also exploring for dual degree programmes with the university."
