266 Indians rescued from cybercrime centres in Southeast Asia repatriated

New Delhi, Mar 12 (UNI) After repatriating 283 Indians rescued from cybercrime centres in Myanmar, the Indian government has sent back to India 266 more such Indians.
In a post on X, the MEA spokesperson wrote that the Indian Embassies in Myanmar and Thailand worked with the respective governments to secure the release of Indians trapped in cybercrime centres and facilitated their repatriation.
“Government of India arranged for the safe repatriation of 266 Indians yesterday by an IAF aircraft, who were released from cybercrime centres in South East Asia.
“On Monday, 283 Indians were similarly repatriated.
“Indian Embassies worked with Myanmar & Thailand governments to secure their release & facilitate their repatriation.
