New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) The Congress party issued a three-line whip to its Lok Sabha MPs on Tuesday, instructing them to be present in the house on April 2, 3, and 4, as the Waqf Amendment Bill 2025 is scheduled for consideration and passage in the lower house on Wednesday.
The whip issued by Kodikunnil Suresh, Congress chief whip in Lok Sabha said, "Very important issues will be taken up for discussion in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday i.e 2nd, 3rd and 4th April, 2025".
The whip was issued asking all the MPs to be present in the Lok Sabha from 11 AM onwards till the adjournment of the house on the three days.
