Chhattisgarh: Two killed, 2 injured in road accident in Balrampur

Balrampur, May 5 (UNI) Two people died and two others were seriously injured in a collision between two motorcycles at Kusmi in the district of Chhattisgarh.
The injured were referred to Ambikapur Medical College after receiving treatment at Kusmi Community Health Centre.

According to information, two motorcycles collided head-on near Galphulla river on the Kusmi-Korandha road on Sunday night at around 9:30 pm. The impact was severe, and both motorcycles were badly damaged.
In this incident, Firoz Eraki (20), the rider of a bike, and Sonu Ekka (21), the rider of the other bike, died on the spot.
Sonu Ekka, a resident of Ratasili, was returning home with his friend Manoj after visiting Karakali in Shankargarh. The other bike, driven by Ayan Eraki from Dindo, was heading towards Kusmi with his friend Saif after visiting his maternal grandfather in Krishnagar.

Saif, who was riding with Ayan Eraki, sustained serious injuries. The injured, Mohammad Saif and Manoj, were referred to Ambikapur after primary treatment.
The Kusmi police are investigating the case.
