Phase-I of Tawi River Front project to be completed in Apr 2025: J&K Govt

Jammu, Mar 11 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday said that the Phase-I of the Tawi River Front project shall be completed in April 2025 with an allotted cost of Rs 143 crore.
Replying to a question of BJP MLA from Jammu West, Arvind Gupta about the present status of the under construction Tawi River Front Project, Tawi Barrage, Artificial Lake, the Minister In-charge Jal Shakti Department, Javed Rana said, “The Phase-I of the Tawi River Front project shall be completed in April 2025 with an allotted cost of Rs 143 crores.”
He said that the date of tendering for the left bank was November 15, 2021 and for the right bank, it was November 11, 2021 and allotment for both the banks was made on January 1, 2022.
