Four personalities from UP conferred with 'Padma Shri', Yogi congratulates

Lucknow, Apr 28 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday congratulated the four distinguished personalities from Uttar Pradesh who were honoured with the Padma Shri award by President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi.
These four eminent individuals are Dr Shyam Bihari Agrawal, Hriday Narayan Dikshit, Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid and Dr Satyapal Singh.
Extending his greetings through his social media handle, Yogi said that their contributions to the nation and the state are invaluable. "Their exceptional work in diverse fields such as art, literature and sports will serve as a priceless legacy for future generations," he said.
He said that receiving four out of the ten Padma Shri awards is a matter of pride for UP.
Congratulating renowned painter, writer and dedicated teacher Dr Shyam Bihari Agrawal on receiving the Padma Shri, the CM said that his dedication, teaching and creativity have left an indelible mark on the Indian art world. He said that this recognition is a proud achievement for the entire art community, which will continue to draw inspiration from his contributions.
Wishing Hriday Narayan Dikshit on being conferred the Padma Shri, he said that his writings express the essence of Indian culture, philosophy,and life values. He said that Dikshit's work reflects profound national, social and cultural thought, unwavering faith in the nation's principles and a commitment to social awakening.
Congratulating renowned Vedic scholar Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid on his Padma Shri award, Yogi hailed him as a beacon of Indian literature and education. He said that Dravid's unparalleled scholarship and literary pursuits have given new dimensions to the Indian knowledge tradition.
He said, "His remarkable contributions in determining the auspicious times for the foundation stone laying and consecration ceremonies at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi are unforgettable."
Extending his best wishes to renowned para-athletics coach Dr Satyapal Singh, the CM said that his exceptional sportsmanship, dedication and relentless hard work have brought glory to the nation on the global stage. He said that Dr Singh's achievements would inspire athletes across the country and the state to dream bigger.
