Himachal: Three more suspects detained in Bilaspur firing case

Bilaspur, Mar 20 (UNI) In a major breakthrough, Bilaspur police have detained three suspects for their alleged involvement in firing on former Congress MLA Bambar Thakur at his residence on Holi festival.
While official confirmation is awaited, police sources indicated on Thursday that the accused were picked up late on Wednesday night.
On day of Holi, armed assailants stormed the residence of Thakur and opened fire, in which he sustained a gunshot wound in his thigh while his PSO Sanjeev Kumar was critically injured. Soon after, the attackers fled from the scene in a car.
