J&K: Three cops injured in attack by drug peddlers

Jammu, Apr 10 (UNI) Three police personnel, including a Station House Officer, suffered injuries in an attack by the drug peddlers, while a youth died of suspected drug overdose in two separate incidents in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said on Thursday that acting on tip off about the presence of drug peddlers at Balole Khad-- believed to be the drug 'hotspot', police team on Wednesday night raided the spot.
Sensing trouble of being nabbed by the police team headed by Station House Officer (SHO), Police Station Bari Brahmana, Inspector Pushpinder Singh, the drug peddlers attacked them with stones and bricks.
