Punjab: CP arrests 2 drug traffickers with arms, drug money

Chandigarh, Mar 4 (UNI ) In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police (CP) has arrested two big drug traffickers Amolak Singh and Mahabir Singh alias Goldy.
In this case, seven accused were earlier arrested with 3Kg heroin, Rs five lakh in cash, and vehicles used in the crime, said DGP Gaurav Yadav here on Tuesday.
DGP Yadav said that Amolak Singh was operating a drug cartel along with his son. He had been out of jail since 2019 but remained active and was absconding for years. Ten FIRs (first information reports) have been registered against him across Punjab.
