Home Guard's body found under suspicious circumstances

Pratapgarh (UP), Mar 25 (UNI) The body of a Home Guard was recovered under suspicious conditions in Bagh Rai area of Pratapgarh district in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the body of Home Guard Shivram Patel alias Babban, a resident of Naria village, was found in a field near his house in a suspicious condition at around 6 AM. "Home Guard Shivram Patel was deployed at Bagh Rai police station," they said.
Police sources said that he had left home on Monday evening for duty. "It is suspected that he was killed after being hit by a brick or a stone and then thrown in the field," they said.
