Pre-budget interactions help understand priorities of people: J&K CM

Jammu, Feb 20 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday concluded the pre-budget consultations with public representatives, holding separate meetings with elected representatives from Kishtwar and Doda districts of Jammu division here at the Civil Secretariat.
Chairing the session for Kishtwar district, the Chief Minister engaged with public representatives, including Leader of Opposition (LoP) Sunil Sharma, who represents Padder-Nagseni in the J&K Assembly, the Chairperson of the District Development Council (DDC) Kishtwar and MLAs from the district.
The representatives presented their demands and issues, with the Chief Minister assuring them that their suggestions and inputs would be duly considered in the budget formulation.

Industrial estate land allotment done as per Policy: J&K CM

Jammu, Mar 13 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday clarified in the Assembly that the land for creation of Industrial Estates was placed at the disposal of the Industries and Commerce Department by the Revenue Department, which was then allocated to the aspiring entrepreneurs as per the established policy and procedures.
