Insulting Shiksha Mitras old habit of SP: UP Minister

Lucknow, Feb 25 (UNI) A remark by a Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA comparing Shiksha Mitras with animals elicited a sharp reaction from Basic Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh Sandeep Singh on Tuesday, who termed it shameful and a recurring pattern in SP's conduct.
The Minister demanded a public apology from the opposition and reaffirmed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government's commitment to the dignity and welfare of Shiksha Mitras in the assembly during the ongoing budget session.
During the discussion on Shiksha Mitras, ruling party MLAs strongly opposed the objectionable remark made by the SP MLA.
