Assembly speaker express displeasure over spitting in the House

Lucknow, Mar 4 (UNI) Speaker of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Satish Mahana on Tuesday expressed his displeasure over a member spitting after eating gutkha in the House and said that it is the responsibility of all 403 members to keep the Vidhan Bhawan clean.
As soon as the proceedings of the House started in the budget session of the Assembly, Mahana said, "An honourable member has spread dirt in the House by eating gutkha. On receiving the information, I have seen the said member spreading dirt through video. I will not take his name publicly but it is the responsibility of the said member to come and meet him himself. In case he does not meet me, I will call that member myself."
He said, "The responsibility of keeping the Vidhan Bhawan clean is not only mine but of all 403 members who represent the population of 21 crore in the state. Therefore, my appeal is that everyone should cooperate in keeping the entire Vidhan Bhawan including the House clean."
