British High Commissioner meets J&K CM Omar Abdullah in New Delhi

Srinagar, June 16 (UNI) British High Commissioner to India Lindy Cameron today called on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in New Delhi, the CM disclosed in a social media post.

“Pleased to meet the British High Commissioner, Ms. Lindy Cameron, along with her colleagues — Ms. Alexandra Knowles, Deputy Head of Political and Bilateral Affairs, and Ms. Bhavna Vij, Senior Political Economy Adviser — in Delhi today,” Omar said.


He, however, didn’t divulge the details about the meeting.

The ruling National Conference chief spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, was also present in the meeting. UNI MJR SSP

Chandigarh, June 17 (UNI) Punjab Police’s State Cyber Crime Division has busted an inter-state
gang allegedly involved in investment fraud with the arrest of two people from Panchkula and Abohar,
said DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav here on Tuesday.
The modus operandi used by this gang was to lure innocent persons into their trap by offering high profits in stock market investment through Telegram and WhatsApp groups.

Punjab vigilance bureau arrests Naib Tehsildar for possessing disproportionate assets
