Two critical patients airlifted from snow bound border area of Karnah for urgent medical treatment

Srinagar, Mar 3 (UNI) Due to recent heavy Snowfall and closure of various roads, the authorities airlifted two critical patients from the border area of Karnah in Kupwara district for urgent medical treatment.
The evacuation operation was undertaken by the officers and field staff during which 15-year-old Rohail Mir from Kharwapra, and 18-month-old Bibi Sana from Kona Gabra, both of whom required immediate medical intervention were airlifted from Karnah, on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, an official spokesman said.
After their safe evacuation to Kupwara, both the patients were boarded in the Ambulance to shift them to Srinagar for advanced medical care.
