Guv's address far from truth, aspirations of common man ignored: Akhilesh

Lucknow, Feb 18 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said that the Governor's address in the state legislature is far from the truth which is dull and disappointing and the hopes and aspirations of the common man have been completely ignored in it.
Akhilesh said, "By calling the gross chaos in Kumbh as divine grand arrangements, all devotees who lost their lives due to the government's mismanagement, have been insulted. Those who were injured due to government failure and are suffering for treatment. The government has told the number of crores of people who came to Kumbh, but it is not known why the number of dead has not been told till now. Even today, many people are searching for their loved ones in Maha Kumbh. This is the height of the government's insensitivity."
He said that there is nothing for farmers and youth in this address. "Educated youth are wandering for jobs. There are only statistics in the name of investment. New industries are not being set up and old ones are getting closed. Traders and entrepreneurs are migrating. The price of sugarcane has not been increased. The outstanding sugarcane price of farmers is also being hidden. There is silence on the purchase of farmers' crops at MSP rates. Electricity is expensive," he said.
