Govt committed to strengthen education and healthcare in UP: Yogi

Lucknow, Mar 5 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that his government is committed to take the state to new heights of development by giving priority to education, health, employment and infrastructure.
Speaking during the budget discussion in the legislative council, the CM said that special provisions have been made in the budget to provide employment-oriented education for the youth.
Highlighting the importance of education and healthcare, he said, "Education and healthcare are key factors in human capital development, and our government is fully committed to strengthening these sectors. Under Operation Kayakalp, Rs 2,000 crore has been allocated for developing basic infrastructure in primary and upper primary schools run by the Basic Education Council. Besides, Rs 580 crore has been allocated under the PM Shri Scheme and Rs 300 crore has been earmarked for transforming primary schools into smart schools."
