Indore, June 9 (UNI) Amid Meghalaya Police's claim that Raja Raghuvanshi's wife, Sonam, was involved in his murder in Meghalaya, Sonam's father has denied these allegations and reiterated the demand for a CBI inquiry into the case.
Sonam's father Devi Singh Raghuvanshi, while speaking to media, said his daughter Sonam has no role in the Raja's murder. "She is innocent. Their marriage took place with mutual consent of the two families," he said.
On the claim of Meghalaya Police, he said since the police's role there was under suspicion, so they framed Sonam. He also denied having any information about how Sonam reached Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh.
