Glorifying terrorists, insulting martyrs is SP's nature: Bhupendra Chaudhary

Lucknow, April 24 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh unit president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary on Thursday attacked Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav and said that glorifying terrorists and insulting martyrs is the nature of SP.
In a statement issued here, Chaudhary said, "The entire country is mourning and saddened by this incident, but the SP supremo is doing politics even on martyrs. Whenever terrorists have committed such incidents, the Modi government has crushed the terrorists and their masters. Be it air strike or surgical strike, Pakistan has always been given a befitting reply. The culprits of Pahalgam will also definitely get punishment for their deeds."
He said everyone knows that during the SP government, even the cases of terrorists were withdrawn. "Even the court had to intervene. They have made Azamgarh a terror city, but our government kills terrorists by entering their homes. The entire country knows that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, our army took revenge for Pulwama," he said.
The BJP state president said that SP is constantly insulting martyrs and national heroes. "Recently, one of their MLAs from Maharashtra and MP from UP insulted our national heroes. Instead of taking action, Akhilesh supported both of them. This shows that Akhilesh is only doing politics of hatred. He is not concerned about the unity and integrity of the society," he alleged.
He said Akhilesh Yadav is not concerned about the martyrs, but about his image. "While talking about the martyrs, he started discussing his image. The public knows his image. BJP will not tolerate any tampering with the honour of the martyrs. The accused of Pahalgam will also be given a befitting reply," he said. UNI AB SSP
