UP Sanskrit Sansthan bags special national honour

Lucknow, May 5 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh has marked a significant achievement in Sanskrit promotion, with the UP Sanskrit Sansthan receiving special national recognition, official sources said here on Monday.
Sources said that the honour was conferred during the valedictory ceremony of the 1008 Mass Sanskrit Conversation Camps, jointly organised by Sanskrit Bharati (Delhi) and Central Sanskrit University at the Delhi University Sports Complex in New Delhi.
Sources said that the award is a testament to the sustained initiatives undertaken by the state government over recent years to promote, preserve and mainstream Sanskrit. "These efforts include appointing Sanskrit teachers, organising conversational training camps, modernising Sanskrit curriculum and dedicating budgetary allocations to the language's advancement," they said.
Sources said that the recognition is a significant achievement for the UP Sanskrit Sansthan and a national endorsement of the Yogi government's progressive language policy.
Coordinator Radha Sharma accepted the award on behalf of the Sansthan and credited the honour to the Yogi government's vision, commitment and unwavering support. She emphasised that the accolade reflects the success of the state's education and cultural policies.
She said, "Numerous institute trainers played a pivotal role in this campaign's success. Notable contributors include Anju Mishra, Aastha Shukla, Deepika Mishra, Dr Diwakar Mishra, Dr Satya Prakash Mishra, Garun Mishra, Geeta Vashishtha, Kirti Atri, Khushi Sharma, Neetu Saxena, Priyanka Shukla, Shiv Pratap Mishra, Rajneesh Tiwari and Rudra Narayan Pandey, among others."
