AP: Five youths drown in river Godavari while taking holy dip

Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 26 (UNI) In a tragic incident, five teenage boys were drowned in the river Godavari at Tadipudi village in Tallapudi Mandal of East Godavari district on Wednesday.

Police said that a group of 11 youths went to the river Godavari in the wee hours to take a holy dip on the occasion of devotional Mahashivratri and five of them were drowned.

measures to boost Higher education in the State including drawing a road
map to make the prestigious Anna University among the top 10 in the
country and among the top 150 in global QS ranking in five years to
position it among the premier institutions in Asia, besides setting up new
Arts and Science colleges in 10 districts and a grand Chennai Science
Centre in collaboration with Singapore.
