Anurag University ropes in actor Vijay Deverakonda as brand ambassador

Hyderabad, Mar 14 (UNI) Telangana's Anurag University (AU) has roped in actor and film producer Vijay Deverakonda as its brand ambassador.
Vijay Deverakonda was the Chief Guest at the 'Synergy 2K25' annual day celebration of AU, the state's first private university, at the Venkatapur campus on Thursday night.
Addressing more than 10,000 students, Deverakonda shared his admiration for the university and its accomplishments, stating, "Anurag University is the pride of Telangana, and I am honoured to represent you as your brand ambassador to the outside world."
He further inspired the students, recalling his own journey from being an unknown actor to a youth icon, urging them to pursue their dreams with determination and courage.
Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Chairman of Anurag Group, praised Deverakonda as a role model for hard work and perseverance and encouraged students to draw inspiration from his journey. Vice President of the University, Anurag, highlighted the actor’s multifaceted contributions to entertainment, fashion, and sports, underscoring his alignment with the university’s values of excellence and innovation.
Dr Archana Mantri, Vice Chancellor of the university, remarked on the shared values between the actor and the institution, such as learning for life, empathy, and pushing boundaries.
