BRS stages walkout boycotts CM Reddy's speech

BRS stages walkout boycotts CM Reddy's speech

Hyderabad, Mar 15 (UNI) The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Saturday boycotted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s speech in the Assembly, walking out while the CM was replying to the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address.
Before exiting the House, the BRS leaders announced that his party was boycotting the speech of a leader who had allegedly wished for the death of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
BRS MLAs expressed their outrage, claiming that the CM's remarks — referring to KCR as a "martyr from a stretcher" — were deeply offensive. They argued that such statements about KCR, who played a pivotal role in achieving Telangana statehood and led the state toward progress for a decade, were tantamount to wishing harm upon Telangana itself.
