MDMA seized, 259 persons arrested, 238 cases filed in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 8 (UNI) Kerala Police arrested 259 persons and registered 238 cases as part of its 'Operation D-Hunt,' a special raid to curb drug-peddling across the State.
As many as 3902 persons were checked in a special drive held state-wide on June 6 and 7 leading to the arrest and filing of cases.
Police seized 88.95 grams of MDMA, 7.376 kgs of ganja and 160 ganja beedis from them.
An Anti-Narcotics Control Room on 24X7 basis is (9497927797) functioning to receive information about drugs from the public. The information of those who contact this number is kept confidential.
