Telangana: Students recover after mild food-related illness

Hyderabad, Feb 22 (UNI) In the backdrop of recent food poisoning incident reported at its campus, NMIMS Hyderabad, a Deemed to be University, situated at Jadcherla, outskirts of the city, on Saturday confirmed that 29 students were admitted to the hospital for observation after experiencing mild symptoms of food-related illness.
Of the total admitted in the hospital, half of the students were discharged on Friday morning while the remaining students were discharged today, the University said in a release here..
Comprehensive medical tests were conducted, all of which returned negative results for any serious infection. Doctors confirmed that this was a case of mild food-related illness.
