Pawan Kalyan extols services of nurses, assures to resolve their problems

Vijayawada, May 12 (UNI) Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan lauded the service of nurses and assured of taking steps to resolve their problems.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan held a meeting with the nurses working in the government hospital in Pithapuram constituency on the occasion of International Nurses Day on Monday in his camp office at Mangalagiri near here.

Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyan praised the services being provided by nurses in the medical field as unique and extraordinary. "Inspired by Florence Nightingale, the nurses are bringing dignity to the profession so that patients can recover," he added.

The deputy Chief Minister said that the selfless services being provided by nurses are priceless, adding that even the touch of the nurses' hands infuses confidence and comfort to the patient. “The way in which the nurses performed their duties, even risking their lives, during the Coronavirus pandemic, will never be forgotten,” he highlighted.

Pawan Kalyan recalled that his son Mark Shankar was involved in an accident in Singapore and he had seen the services of nurses in the hospital there and he wanted to thank them on the International Nurses Day. He assured the nurses of taking their problems to the notice of Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav to resolve them.
