Telangana Govt appointed four new RTI Commissioners

Hyderabad, May 12 (UNI) The Telangana government has appointed four new commissioners to the State Information Commission under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005..
The newly appointed RTI Commissioners include senior journalists Boreddy Ayodhya Reddy and P.V. Srinivasa Rao, while the other two are Ms Mohsina Parveen and Deshala Bhoopal, according to a notification issued by Chief Secretary to Government Mr K Ramakrishna Rao here on Monday.
The commissioners would hold the office for three years from the date on which he/she enters upon his office or till he/she attains the age of sixty five years whichever is earlier.
The 52-year-old Ayodhya Reddy is presently the Chief Public Relations Officers (CPRO) of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy while Srinivas Rao, is presently the BIG TV Editor in Chief.
the 56-year-old Mohsina, an advocate, is an ex-member of Telangana State Waqf Tribunal , Hyderabad.
The government earlier had appointed a senior officer of the Indian Forest Service, Chandrashekhar Reddy as the Chief Information Commissioner.

Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) expressed deep sorrow over the death of a farmer, Gugulothu Kishan (51), due to heatstroke while waiting at a crop procurement centre in Mahabubabad district.
