Operation Sindoor : TN rallies behind Armed forces, hails precision strikes on terror camps

Chennai, May 7(UNI) The State of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday rallied behind the

Indian Armed Forces on the Operation Sindoor that destroyed terror camps in

Pakistan an PoK in the aftermath of the dastardly Pahalgam terror attack.

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister MK Stalin led the state in

rallying behind the armed forces following the successful pre-dawn Operation.

Leaders cutting across party lines saluted the Indian armed forces for giving a

fitting tribute to avenge the Pahalgam killings.

The Governor posting a fluttering National flag on the Raj Bhavan’s ‘X’ handle,

wrote "this was just the beginning".

"“Bharat Mata ki Jay” #OperationSindoor Just the beginning!", he posted.

Mr Stalin also took to X and said Tamil Nadu stood resolutely behind the

Indian Army against terrorism.

"Tamil Nadu stands with the Indian Army against terrorism. With our Army, for

our nation. Tamil Nadu stands resolute", he wrote.

AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami

lauded the Armed forces for their precise execution of Operation Sindoor and said

justice has been delivered under the vigilant leadership of Prime Minister Narendra

Modi.

The decisive operation underscored India's unwavering commitment to eradicating

terrorism and safeguarding the citizens.

Taking to X, he said "I commend the Indian Armed Forces for their precise execution

of #OperationSindoor, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and PoJK in response to the

Pahalgam attack."

“It is a proud moment. With a crystal-clear plan that our war is against terrorists and not

on civilians, the valour of our armed forces in successfully completing OperationSindoor

deserves utmost appreciation,” he said.

"Under the vigilant leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Thiru. @narendramodi Avl,

justice has been delivered", he said.

"This decisive action underscores our nation's unwavering commitment to eradicating

terrorism and safeguarding our citizens", Mr Palaniswami said.

Leaders of various political parties, including the BJP leaders, the nascent TVK Founder

and actor-politician Vijay, Makkal Needhi Maiyam Founder and actor-politician Kamal

Hassan, besides Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth also rallied behind the Indian Armed forces

in their battle against terrorism.

Kamal Hassan termed the Operation as a decisive strategic military action of a strong

nation and said the country could not be divided by cowardly acts of terror. “A proud

India stands united with its armed forces. This is the resolute response of a strong nation

that will not be divided by cowardly acts of terror."

"I applaud the decisive and strategic military action taken by the Government of India.

Jai Hind,” he wrote on ‘X’.

Vijay in a social media post said “A royal salute to the armed forces acting in defence

of the Nation”.

Rajinikant too complimented Mr Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the precision

strikes on terror camps.

“The fighter’s fight begins…No stopping until the mission is accomplished! The entire nation

is with you”, he said.

The Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) justified the precision strikes by the Armed Forces which

were taken in the interest of protecting the Nation's security.

These attacks are justified and necessary. "Let's all stand solidly behind the Union Government

and the armed forces", PMK Working President Dr Anbumani Ramaoss said.

Meanwhile, BJP cadres hailed the Operation Sindoor launched by the government and saluted

the armed forces for the decisive strike.

Carrying the National flags, they also celebrated it by bursting crackers and distributing sweets

at Mannargudi in Tiruvarur district.

They also shouted slogans hailing the Union government and said India exercised its response

to the terror attacks.
