India eye historic glory at All England Open 2025

Birmingham, Mar 10 (UNI) With a rich legacy and a burning desire for victory, Indian shuttlers, led by two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu, are set to battle it out at the prestigious All England Open 2025, beginning Tuesday at the Utilita Arena.
Sindhu, ranked world No. 15, is making her much-anticipated return to the court after a hiatus since the Indonesia Masters in January. She will be keen to reclaim her dominance at one of the most coveted events on the BWF World Tour. Malvika Bansod, world No. 28, is the only other Indian in the women’s singles draw.
World No. 10 Lakshya Sen, India’s highest-ranked men’s singles shuttler, will be looking to better his semifinal finish from last year. The 2022 runner-up, Sen, is returning to action after his Indonesia Masters campaign and could face compatriot HS Prannoy (world No. 30) in the quarterfinals if both advance.
