Cindy Ngamba withdraws from Pro Boxing debut

London, Mar 6 (UNI) Boxer Cindy Ngamba has withdrawn from her debut professional fight due to an issue detected during a pre-fight medical examination, promoters BOXXER announced on Thursday.
Ngamba, 26, who won a historic bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics while representing the European Olympic Committees (EOC) Refugee Team, was scheduled to make her professional debut against Kristie Bavington on Friday at London's Royal Albert Hall.
The fight was part of an all-women's boxing event headlined by the much-anticipated bout between Natasha Jonas and Lauren Price. However, BOXXER stated that a medical issue requiring further investigation had led to Ngamba’s withdrawal from the card.
