S8UL signs Grandmasters Nihal & Aravindh to compete at Esports World Cup 2025

Mumbai, Apr 14 (UNI) S8UL, a global force in esports and gaming content, has made a significant move in the world of chess by signing two of India’s top-ranked grandmasters -Aravindh Chithambaram and Nihal Sarin to represent the organisation at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025.
With chess making its debut at EWC this year, S8UL’s entry into the title marks a bold step in expanding its competitive footprint into new frontiers of intellectual esports.
Joining S8UL’s chess roster is Grandmaster Aravindh Chithambaram, from Thirunagar in Madurai. Having started playing chess at the age of seven under the guidance of his grandfather, the 25 year old quickly climbed the ranks, winning the Indian Under 19 Championship at just 12 years old.
