P T Usha calls on AP CM

Vijayawada, Feb 27 (UNI) Indian Olympic Association president and Rajya Sabha member, P T Usha, called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat here on Thursday.
CM Naidu expressed his joy, saying it was a pleasure to meet the Indian Olympic Association president P T Usha.
“We have a great discussion on our new sports policy and our vision to support athletes. I expressed my desire for Andhra Pradesh to host the National Games in 2009 and sought her support in bringing a Sports Authority of India regional centre to the state. We also discussed plans to establish a National Centre for Excellence and develop a Sports City in Amravati. My government is committed to providing the best opportunities for our talented youth athletes,” he added.
