Egypt to host 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations after Cote d'Ivoire's withdrawal

Cairo, Mar 28 (UNI) African football's governing body CAF on Thursday awarded Egypt the rights to host the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Cote d'Ivoire withdrew as the host nation just one month before the tournament's start due to unforeseen circumstances, CAF said in a statement.
The Egyptian Football Association and the Egyptian government had previously submitted a bid to host this tournament.
