Army's Chinar Open Winter Games 2025 concludes in Gulmarg

Srinagar, Mar 15 (UNI) The “Chinar Open Winter Games 2025”, organized by the Indian Army’s Pir Panjal Brigade of the Baramulla Dagger Division, concluded successfully in the snow-covered slopes of Gulmarg on Saturday.
Army official said the event was a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship, community spirit, and youth empowerment.
The event witnessed record-breaking participation, with 634 athletes—167 girls and 467 boys—competing in 18 winter sports events. The competition featured skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating, drawing large crowds and showcasing the region’s emerging talent in winter sports.
