Geneva, Apr 10 (UNI) The Executive Board (EB) of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) approved the event program and athlete quotas for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games (LA28), and 22 more medal events compared to Paris 2024 were included in the Games, the IOC
announced.
A total of 351 medal events are in the LA28 program and the athlete quota is 10,500, with an extra 698 quota places allocated for five sports -- baseball/softball, cricket, flag football, lacrosse and squash -- proposed by the LA28 Organizing Committee.
