17 killed in fire at firecracker factory in Gujarat

Palanpur (Gujarat), Apr 1 (UNI) At least 17 people were killed and several others injured in a fire at a firecracker factory in Gujarat's Banaskantha district on Tuesday, police said.
According to police, a massive fire broke out in a firecracker factory near Deesa GIDC this morning due to some reason. During this time, 17 people died due to burns. The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, the fire brigade official said that as soon as the information about the fire in the firecracker factory was received this morning, fire brigade personnel along with six fire tenders reached the spot.
